Apps for (RED) was the first ever global App Store take-over. 155 markets. 25 apps. 2 weeks. 1 goal — to raise millions. 100% of the cost of in-app purchases of specially created, unique (RED) items went to provide medicine & treatment.

We then did it all again with Games for (RED) — 20 of the most creative games from Clash of Clans to Sims — turned (RED) globally raising $9 MILLION in 10 days.

From App Store take-overs, to Apple x (RED) product launches, to Apple’s retail stores turning their logo (RED) globally on World AIDS Day, to countless artists and musicians releasing songs on iTunes to support (RED), Apple x (RED) have raised over a quarter billion dollars giving millions of people access to life-saving medicine.

Music initiatives with Apple included:

  • U2’s Super Bowl spot ‘Invisible’ with Bank of America & iTunes raised $3 MILLION in 24 hours

  • The Killers annual (RED) Christmas Song on iTunes - every year for 10 years

  • DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES albums featuring Tiesto, David Guetta, Avicci, Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia & more reach #1 in Dance Music charts on iTunes
